A bit grey here in Verbier today so the focus will be to get started on the JOI preparations. Part of feeling good end energized is for sure to feel that I am on plan with all of the things I work with! ![]()
So today you get some more info on the new Head skis, shown at ISPO a few days ago. I am truly in love with the new Head pow skis, have been rocking them here in Verbier for the past few days and they ski as good as they look! Also worth mentioning is the new binding! Since I first got on Head 17 years ago I have been on pretty much the same binding with a few small updates, but this year they released an all new, super cool looking version that i really think lifts the look of the whole package a ton!
Below is a little video of one of the mini shred I did the other day, Verbier is such a cool place with so much fun in bounce stuff to be skied! As soon as it clears up I think we might try to call up the heli and find some more powder, so I am really crossing my fingers that the weather gods are with us!

Big Mountain – Flight Series
The Flight Series feature a technology called TTS. Tip and Tail Stabilizer. It includes an Elasomeric rubber inlay in the tip and tail which is supported by a fiberglass exoskeleton. This reduces tip and tail swing weight while maintaining torsional response.
Turbine (Red, W 125mm), Cyclic (Yellow, W 115mm), Collective (Blue, W 105mm), Venturi (White, W 95mm)

found the post, bit late… but great to hear you like the bindings!
Hej Jon!
Mvh JON
great vid. Jon – would love a pair of those skis!
Hi Jon,
a simple question: for those big powder conditions, why did you chose the Cyclic and not Turbine, which are wider? Maybe you had no or full choice but if it’s deliberate, I’d like to know why you’d rather get a 115mm than a 125mm ski…
And thanks for showing us the new colllection!

Hey Flavien
I actually only had the Cyclic so there was not much of a choice, but in my opinion there is very few days that you need anything wider then a 115. Maybe on an EPIC pow day in Interior BC a wider ski can be nice, but I think a 115 is perfect for a “normal” epic pow day!

JON –
Hope you ever get to try other skis. Life is too short to be on HEAD freeskis. DAMN they are like 4 years behind.
