Above the clouds!

when we woke up westerday the wether was completely foggy and we thought we had a no go on the heli, but then we got the call form our guide Jean Rene and he said that there were blue skies the be had above the clouds. So we drove down the heli pad and jumped in the bird! As you can see below my timing was a bit off in the morning so I had to enjoy a burrito and a Red bBull edition on the way up. I honestly cant think of a better way to get to the top! ;-) (Maybe a little sad that I am so spoiled that I focus on my food rather then the view… haha)

Jean Rene is a bad ass man, he has been to the top of K2 so he is a true mountain man. Knowing that feels pretty good when we hiked up and traversed out into some pretty big stuff. We started with this super steep and icy couloir the ended in a huge open steep couloir filled with sweet snow!

As yesterday was as good as it was I decided to jump on the GS boards today and work on my turns, have bought every vitamin there is so I am hoping that it will make a difference!

Get your snorkel gear out in that kind of deep powder!!! Looks like you guys had an incredible day. I wish I was having a snowy day like that instead of the rain I’m watching out of my window.

    peace out,
