For the first time in my carrier I am actually doing something smart. Normally I set my schedule for the summer after what I want to do= Lots of parties and not enough training!
This week-end the SummerBurst festival is happening in Sthlm and normally I would fly right out there as this is not something that I would want to miss, but with my new training schedule and the motivation that I have found I decided to stay here in MC and train hard. Feels weird but it feel 100% right as I think its time to get serious (and not only writing it on my blog). Yesterday I hit the gym in the afternoon, went home and had dinner and then jumped back in my running shoes and went for a 12 min max run. (have a 3000m test at the end of the summer so need to work on that) and continued with a 25 min low intensity jog and steching.
It sucks a bit now to make these choices now but I think it will be worth it in the end! I do wish that I was in Sthlm so I could try out Red Bulls new "Silent disco" concept as I would love to be at a huge concert and get the music right in my ears, think this could be a super cool new way to get the wibe from the big speakers on stage but the perfect sound right in my ears! (so if you are there make sure to try it out and let me know what I missed!)
Time for me to hit the gym again! Go go go!
