Snow, fog and huge holes…

I think you can easily say that this was not the start I was hoping for! Sure the weather and snow was probably the worst I have ever raced in but I need to figure out how to get better at conditions like that. When its nice I ski well and do things right, but when I can see the next gate and the holes are big as a mogul course after 6 skiers I loose the diceplin in my skiing and totally suck!

I ended up 7th which is far from good considering the fact that I was the best ranked skier here. On the good side I just had a long vide session and I think I know what to work on when conditions are tough, so even if today sucked bad I think I was able to find some super valuable leads in it to help make me a better skier!

New race tomorrow if the conditions allows it. Pissed about today but stoked to work on my weak sides!

This may sound disparaging, and I’m about to do an analysis without knowing you more than through this blog. Considering, however, if it has not linked to “experience”. Maybe your life as a freestyle skier has done that you have chosen to ride only (or most) in good conditions. I think it’s about to train even when the weather conditions are bad so you do not become that affected from it.
